Uveitis is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness worldwide with a prevalence in the US of about 38 cases per 100,000 people. However, uveitis is commonly misdiagnosed and therefore inappropriately treated leading to suboptimal outcomes in this patient population. Within this CME activity, Dr. Srivastava, Dr. Patel, and Dr. Yeh discuss effective strategies for the differential diagnosis, appropriate therapy selection, and emerging biologic therapeutic options for patients presenting with symptoms of uveitis.
