In the past few years, significant progress has been made in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV). Highly effective direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) and additional ones in development offer favorable safety profiles and high cure rates for most patients. Certain populations, however, pose a significant challenge to treatment success. These difficult-to-treat patients require clinicians to continually update their knowledge about the various HCV therapies and management strategies. During this program, expert faculty will discuss the latest advances in HCV therapy and strategies to optimize outcomes for populations that remain at risk for treatment failure. The interactive case-based format is intended to help clinicians integrate scientific advances into real-world practice settings.
