HIV Curbside Consults provide clinicians with timely answers to pressing clinical practice questions encountered in the management of HIV in 2016. Poor adherence to antiretroviral therapy is the primary cause of therapeutic failure in HIV-infected patients. Health care providers must be aware of the factors contributing to non-adherence and the appropriate strategies to overcome these challenges. In this CME activity, expert faculty will have a case-based discussion on evidence-based guidelines and strategies for improving adherence to HIV treatment.
