Target Audience
The intended audience for this activity is neurologists, neurology nurses, neurology nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with multiple sclerosis.
Learning Objectives
Physicians & APPs
Upon successful completion of this activity, physicians and APPs should be better able to:
- Identify clinical trends and controversies in MS that may have implications on clinical decision-making.
- Utilize strategies for the early identification of patients with RRMS or progressive MS to facilitate timely intervention.
- Incorporate knowledge of the benefit/risk profiles of disease-modifying therapies (DMTs), including COVID-19–related safety issues, when making decisions about early treatment for patients with MS.
- Examine the role of shared decision-making and strategies to improve patient–provider communication regarding the disease state and selection of optimal DMTs in alignment with patient preferences.
Nurses

How to Participate in This Activity and Obtain CE Credit
To participate in this CE activity, you must read the objectives, answer the polling and pretest questions, view the content, and complete the posttest and evaluation. Provide only one (1) correct answer for each question. A satisfactory score is defined as answering 4 of the 5 posttest questions correctly. Upon receipt of the completed materials, if a satisfactory score on the posttest is achieved, Vindico Medical Education will issue an AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ certificate or Contact Hour(s) certificate.
