Obesity is a complex, chronic disease. This educational program will provide health care providers with practical knowledge to optimally manage patients with overweight and obesity, as well as strategies for improving the patient interaction and communication techniques.  Expert faculty will discuss the latest guideline recommendations and lend their insight into managing complex patients with various comorbid conditions through case-based presentations. The program will feature Wheel of Obesity Knowledge, a gaming segment that will reinforce topics discussed in the preceding didactic presentations. In addition, a patient will share her journey, highlighting the importance of patient involvement and shared decision making in the management of patients with overweight and obesity.
