Target Audience
This activity is designed for retina specialists, comprehensive ophthalmologists, retina fellows, and healthcare providers who are interested in applying the most recent advancements in the retinal medicine field.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Distinguish recent trial results associated with existing and emerging products for retinal diseases in disease states such as exudative age-related macular degeneration, non-exudative age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, uveitis diseases, and retinal vein occlusions to name a few disease states.
  • Recognize and assess retinal pathologies through imaging modalities and use these modalities to assess a patient’s response to therapy
  • Identify how key factors in systems for micro-incisional vitrectomy surgery impact performance and outcomes
  • Use retinal surgical visualization systems to streamline processes and improve outcomes for patients

Criteria for Success
In order to receive credit, participants must complete the pre-assessment questions, post-test, and program evaluation. Participants must also score at least 70% on the post-test.
