Target Audience

The intended audience for the activity is ophthalmologists and other health care professionals involved in the management of patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD).

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Assess the evidence regarding the effects of different retinal fluid compartments on the progression of nAMD.
  • Apply the evidence into practice regarding visual and anatomic outcomes produced by available and emerging anti-vascular epithelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) agents for the treatment of nAMD.
