Dry age-related macular degeneration has proven to be a challenging condition for clinicians, and no pharmaceutical options have been shown to be effective. Dry AMD is a disease unique to humans, meaning animal models cannot be used to evaluate treatments. In this activity, Michael Singer, MD, will offer guidance on educating patients with dry AMD about their condition and review ongoing research into treatment options.
