Ocular surface disease (OSD) encompasses several disorders which include dry eye disease, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, ocular allergy, and conjunctivitis. Accurate diagnosis of OSD is characteristically challenging, as patients may present with more than one concurrent condition with substantial overlap of signs and symptoms. Therefore, OSD is frequently misdiagnosed and subsequently undertreated. In this CME activity, experts in the field will assess therapeutic strategies for optimal management of OSD as well as the different approaches for monitoring treatment response. The presentation of case studies will further provide tools to integrate treatment and monitoring pearls into practice.
