Microblepharoexfoliation (MBE) is an effective procedure to prepare the ocular surface for surgery in the dry eye patient. It involves mechanical debridement of the lid margin as well as disruption of the biofilm that effectively reduces inflammation and makes the surgery more desirable. This CME activity will discuss the latest advancements in microblepharoexfoliation for the surgical dry eye patient.
