The management of diabetic eye disease has undergone significant changes over the last 18 months. Two steroid implants have been approved for the management of diabetic macular edema (DME). Aflibercept and ranibizumab have had their indications expanded to include diabetic retinopathy in patients with DME, and the DRCR.net has published its head-to-head comparison of aflibercept, bevacizumab, and ranibizumab for the management of DME. In this activity, leading clinicians will provide a state-of-the-science review to further clinicians’ understanding of the latest data, as well as clinical recommendations on how they should be implemented in practice through interactive case discussions.
