The Diabetic Retinopathy Clinical Research Network ( is a collaborative network dedicated to facilitating multicenter clinical research of diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema and associated conditions. Diabetic eye disease is a leading cause of vision loss in the United States, in part because many patients are not treated. Early detection offers the best long-term visual outcomes, especially with new treatment options emerging. In this activity, leading ophthalmologists will discuss current data results available at as well as emering trials to help clinicians choose the optimal treatment option for patients with diabetic retinopathy.
