The integration of anti-VEGF therapy into front-line treatment strategies for neovascular retinal disease has provided significant enhancement to patient outcomes. However, questions pertaining to best therapy choice, optimal scheduling of treatment, and patient adherence complicate treatment decisions. In those patients who do not receive benefit from front-line anti-VEGF therapy, consideration of switching among agents or initiating intravitreal corticosteroid therapy must also be addressed. In this CME activity, the expert panel will review current strategies and emerging data through interactive case discussion, with an emphasis on optimizing treatment regimens, for the enhancement of visual outcomes in retinal diseases.
