Early intervention with intravitreal antivascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) therapies has demonstrated significant slowing of disease progression and reduced vision-threatening complications in diabetic retinopathy (DR). Integration of anti-VEGF therapies into treatment paradigms for DR have the potential to significantly enhance clinical outcomes and improve quality-of-life measures for these patients. In this continuing education-activity, participants will play Game On!, an interactive quiz of knowledge and confidence, in which they answer questions about DR management, then select the level of confidence in their answers to achieve the highest score among their peers. The faculty of this program will explore various aspects of DR management including, utilizing anti-VEGF injection protocols in DR, treatment of proliferative DR versus nonproliferative DR, and initiation of early treatment in the disease process to achieve long-term benefits.
