Advances in the management of retinal disease and uveitis have the potential to improve patient outcomes when optimally integrated into practice. However, keeping abreast of the rapid evolution of diagnostic, surgical, and therapeutic strategies for their management is challenging, and many ophthalmologists may not be knowledgeable about these newer approaches or how to effectively apply them. In this CME activity, which was recorded during Hawaiian Eye 2017, the expert panel reviews and discusses new and novel treatment strategies for AMD, DME, and uveitis, as well as new advances in surgery and imaging, and how to identify and manage those patients who are nonresponders to therapy.
