Target Audience:The intended audience for the activity is comprehensive ophthalmologists, retina specialists, ophthalmic technicians and photographers and other health care professionals utilizing optical coherence tomography (OCT) instruments involved in the treatment of patients with retinal diseases.
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of the activity, participants will be able to:
- Review advances in diagnostic techniques for retinal disorders that can be performed using available OCT hardware and software.
- Examine the evidence for improved treatment precision using OCT-guided therapy.
- Describe the quantification of retinal pathology obtainable using SD-OCT technology and its clinical interpretation.
